BHK was Bazmaser Arakelyan's only love (video)
It is not necessary for an individual or a politician to be affiliated with a political party in order to be engaged in philanthropy, says Armenian lawmaker Bazmaser Arakelyan. However, the MP wants to take up a seat in the new parliament without any party affiliation. “I prefer to remain an independent lawmaker. Time will show where I might appear in the future,” he said. Nor does the lawmaker intend to return to the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) although ‘the BHK was his only love.’ Asked what he would do if the party asked him to return to its ranks, the MP said, “I assure you that it will not happen.” Mr Arakelyan says with every new day, he helps is relatives, voters and people in his neighbourhood.
