Gagik Khachatryan: Does acting constitution prevent people from living a better life? (video)
When comparing the working and new constitutions, Minister of Finance Gagik KHachatryan makes a sensational revelation – a stronger institution of presidency. Mr Khachatryan cannot answer the question how the current constitution prevents people from living a better life. “Good and bad things will show up later in life. If you want to have good things you should do everything for it. You ask if the authorities want things to better. Why shouldn’t they want? Can you compare our authorities with Azerbaijani leadership?” he said. The minister says if one wants to live a good life, he should demonstrate desire. “Life will become better if we all wake up in the morning with the desire to do our jobs and daily tasks properly. Does the constitution hinder it?” he said. Though Gagik Khachatryan is not a member of the central headquarters of the “Yes” campaign for the upcoming referendum, he says it is not important.
