Turkish girl participated in cleaning activities of Yerevan (video)
The young people from different countries are cleaning one part of Hanrapetutyan Street with their own initiative. They have arrived in our country on an educational program. They hold discussions for a week, touched upon the social work, issues relating to volunteering, had meetings. “If you want to be a volunteer, you must start with little but pleasant activities,” said Ruta Kuzminskaite from Scotland. Turkish girl Damla is also one of the participants of the program. Before her arrival, she had completely different notion about Armenia and Armenians. The young Turkish girl doesn’t avoid answering questions about the Armenian Genocide. “I am really sorry about it, but I cannot say anything in terms of politics. Here I have spoken to the people, they have told me concrete stories and I am still getting goose bumps because of those stories.” Details in the video
