Jirayr Sefilyan: If we do not sober up and take definite steps we shall lose our homeland (video)
Our struggle is not an end in itself, we all imagine the Armenia of our dreams, we must continue to dream and have the Armenia of our dreams, Jirayr Sefilyan, a senior member of the New Armenia Public Salvation Front, said during a rally in Vanadzor city. “Many ask us today what we are going to do to turn this country into the country of our dreams after we unseat the authorities. The answer is simple: our actions lie 180 degrees in the opposite direction to what the authorities are doing today,” he said. Mr. Sefilyan says everything should be built in the country for people, not for oligarchs. “People must not use their position for looting and devouring, but for building and giving.” He stresses that everyone should realize the importance of the December 1 national rally. “If we do not sober up and take definite steps we shall lose our homeland,” Sefilyan said. He also promised to ensure transportation of Vanadzor citizens to Yerevan.
