Andrias Ghukasyan: We must show the world that we are not a corrupt nation (video)
In recent years, the international community has begun to perceive Armenians as a corrupt nation, Andrias Ghukasyan, a member of the New Armenia Public Salvation Front, said today during a rally held by the Front in Armenia’s Vanadzor city. He believes that the international community formed such an image about Armenians following electoral processes in the country. “That is why the international community agreed to limit the choice of Armenian citizens and deprive them of the opportunity to elect the country’s head.” Mr Ghukasyan said staining in power for many years the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) has turned into a criminal regime. “They want to place the full responsibility on people they have already achieved their goal by organizing a referendum on the constitutional referendum. But we are against it,” he said. In his speech, Andrias Ghukasyan also called on Vanadzor citizens ‘to come out to the street on December 1 and show the world that we are not corrupt, we shall not surrender, we only want to restore constitutional norms in our country in a peaceful way.'
