Today at the NA during the discussion of state budget 2016, the NA Chief of Staff Hrayr Tovmasyan presented the expenses and incomes of the parliament. The BHK MP Tigran Urikhanyan, who is the most active lawmaker today, suggested reducing the NA expenses by one million drams and directing them to healthcare. In response to the question, Hrayr Tovmasyan noted that one million drams may be allocated, but in that case the lawmakers will not have Internet, water and light at the NA. Yet Tigran Urikhanyan opposed by saying that he doesn’t agree, they will have all that, if state cars, limited fuel and business trips are reduced. The OEK lawmaker Hovhannes Margaryan announced in his speech that he got the impression from the words of Hrayr Tovmasyan that the NA is the most incompletely financed establishment and there is deficit of money, “We can sit on stools and simple chairs and work, but I am asking for minimum conditions. For example, yesterday the lawmakers had no place to sit. I suggest doing calculations so that at least during budget discussions there are places for lawmakers and journalists. Besides I want to know how much have been saved on the salaries of absent lawmakers?”Hrayr Tovmasyan answered that he doesn’t know. By the way, today neither Dashnaktsutyun nor the HAK were present at the budget discussion.
