Have the employees of the Vanadzor-Khimprom received their wages and what is to become to the former ‘chemical giant?’ Armenian lawmaker Edmon Marukyan asked the question in parliament today. Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zakharyan said that the issue had been discussed with Serzh Sargsyan during a meeting at the Presidential palace. “The president instructed to study the issue and take appropriate actions in connection with the arrears of wages. He instructed to pay the salaries before December 15,” Mr Zakharyan said. The debts to employees totlas AMD 180m.
