HRD working group is in “Nubarashen’
The HRD office informs that according to the instruction of the RA Human rights defender Karen Andreasyan today again a working group has been formed and now it is in “Nubarashen” penitentiary institution. “Taking into consideration the yesterday’s news on violence used against prisoners, the representatives of Ombudsman today again have visited the PI in order to form more objective and comprehensive image about the yesterday’s events,” reads the message. To remind, human rights defender Zhanna Alexanyan informed that violence had been used against some prisoners of the RA JM “Nubarashen” PI, after which the others expressed their complaint. The public relations department of the RA JM PD refused the news by noting a number of prohibited items had been found and confiscated in the cells of the RA JM “Nubarashen” PI.
