Robert Nazaryan: All gas meters will be changed by 2017
The Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the Armenian National Assembly today began discussing Public Services Regulatory Commission’s program for 2016. The program was introduced by PSRC Chairman Robert Nazaryan. In reply to the question of Heritage party lawmaker Tevan Poghosyan concerning the steps taken by the PSRC to improve the sphere, Mr Nazaryan said ‘we are ready to discuss all issues, particularly those relating to tariffs. Lawmaker Khachur Kokobelyan inquired about the installation of new gas meters. “The gas metes we are using today are unable to show the exact volume of consumed gas. I understand that the PSRC does not have much leverage and it should be done "GazPromArmenia," anyway do not you think it's time to change gas meters?” Kokobelyan said. Mr Nazaryan assured the lawmaker that all gas meters will be changed by GazPromArmenia before 2017. Since the PSRC Chairman was in a hurry he quickly answered all questions and departed. The meeting was attended by Tevan Poghosyan, Khachatur Kokobelyan and Hakob Hakobyan.
