Shavarsh Kocharyan on appointment of Tigran Sargsyan (video)
The appointment of the RA former prime minister Tigran Sargsyan on the position of Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission is considered to be an undisputed candidacy for all the member states of the union, thinks the RA Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan. When the journalists tried to clarify, whether the offshore scandal and other scandals connected with the name of Tigran Sargsyan had been forgotten, Mr. Kocharyan added, “It was the candidacy, which was undisputed both with its level and experience. What’s more, as the leaders of those countries worked with Tigran Sargsyan, in particular Putin, when he was a prime minister, and they know him and describe Tigran Sargsyan as a brilliant specialist.” In reply to the question who will be the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the RA to the USA, Shavarsh Kocharyan answered, “I should not be asked about it, I am not to decide it.”
