The two rival fronts campaigning in favour or against the constitutional reform will soon explain Armenian citizens why they need to join their camp. The constitutional referendum campaign has got underway in Armenia. Under the draft constitution, the president of the country will be elected by the National Assembly. The president will be elected by voters and will head the country for 7 years instead of the present 5. How would you vote, if the referendum on the constitutional reform was held this Sunday? Our citizens were asked the question in Yerevan streets. “I am going to vote against the constitutional amendments as I do not want to see the same people in power. Thieves and robbers cannot do anything good for these people,” said a Yerevan citizen. “They are starting the process of reproduction, and it is already an ugly phenomenon. After the referendum, Serzh Sargsyan that people did not want to elect him,” said another. “Of course we shall say “no” but who considers our vote," said a third citizen.
