Nikolai Nikolaidi: Constitutional reform is against our mentality (video)
The draft constitution stipulates the presence of ethnic minorities in the National Assembly, a representative of the Greek community said today. While Nikolai Nikolaidi welcomes the new constitution he is not very enthusiastic about the changes. “The draft constitution has many anti-national provisions which conflict with our national, Armenian mentality (I also think like Armenians). The new document simply ensures the reproduction of the authorities,” he said. “If people with the same education background and level are elected to the National Assembly, it will not give us anything. It is important that people who are engaged in human rights protection, take seats in parliament,” said Boris Murazi, who heads the National Union of Sinjar Yezidis.
