Armenian FM, OSCE Chairman-in-Office discuss Azerbaijani provocations

Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met on September 27 with Ivica Dačić, OSCE Chairman-in-Office, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia. The interlocutors discussed Armenian-Serbian relations, issues of the OSCE agenda, priorities for the 2015 Serbian Chairmanship and other issues. Both sides noted with satisfaction that bilateral relations are developing steadily and discussed, in this context, the opening of embassies in Yerevan and Belgrade, visa regime liberalization and establishment of direct flights. The Armenian FM and the OSCE Chairman-in-Office also discussed the Karabakh peace process and the mediation efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group. Ivica Dačić expressed deep concerns over the escalation of tension in the conflict zone and stressed the importance of full observance of truce. Edward Nalbandian said in turn that despite numerous appeals of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, Baku does not want to provocative and destructive behavior.
