Petition: Initiative asks to allocate budget intended for Yerevan Day celebrations to border communities
A group of young people have begun an active campaign gathering signatures via change.org website. They urge to join their petition of allocating the budget meant for Yerevan Day celebrations to border communities. “Dear friends, let us turn the celebration into a good deed. We are sure that each of us will be delighted to render help to our soldiers who guard our borders day and night,” the initiative said in a statement. Earlier, Anahit Bakhshyan, a member of the Barev Yerevan (HelloYerevan) bloc at Yerevan's City Council, addressed a letter to the Yerevan Mayor with the same request.
