Armenian DEputy FM: It is time to call to order the Azerbaijani leadership
It’s high time we give an adequate assessment to border violations by, Armenia’s Deputy FM Shavarsh Kocharyan told Tert.am. Question: How would you assess the shelling of Armenian borders villages before the meeting of Armenia and Azerbaijani FMs in New York? Answer: The acts of sabotage incited by Azerbaijan’s leadership have become traditional ahead of high-level meetings mediated by the [OSCE] Minsk Group co-chairs. They are aimed at torpedoing possible success in the negotiation process. Making elderly women in peaceful settlements a target of multi-caliber firearms and mine-launchers is an expression of the Azerbaijani leadership’s caveman-style mentality and attitude of glorifying a brutal murderer axing a sleeping Armenian to death as a hero. Time has arrived to evaluate all this adequately and call the Azerbaijani leadership to order, which exposes its own people’s future to threat.
