Zaruhi Postanjyan: Let us pull down the Bastille – the National Security Service and KGB (video)
The Heritage party says “No” both to the draft constitution and Serzh Sargsyan, Heritage party lawmaker Zaruhi Postanjyan said at the National Assembly today during the debate on the draft constitutional amendments. “Our independent statehood has been turned into a colony, stubbornness and impunity prevail, offences and crimes have increased,” she said. Zaruhi Postanjyan said all forces that did not support [Heritage Leader] Raffi Hovannisian during the previous presidential election, are now seconding Serzh Sargsyan and want to see him in power again. “We need to get rid of the poisonous tree. The sooner we do it, the better for all of us. We should put on the agenda the issue of holding early presidential and parliamentary elections instead of holding a referendum on constitutional amendments,” she stressed. Then, the lawmaker addressed people saying, “Our land is sacred and on this holy land we must go out and fight against the process initiated by Serzh Sargsyan. We must throw Serzh Sargsyan and his Republican Party of Armenia. We must take our fight to Melik-Adamyan and Nalbadyan [central streets in Yerevan] and pull down the Bastille – the National Security Service, KGB and establish our free country. The Heritage will vote against the bill.”
