Gagik Tsarukyan to meet winegrowers on Saturday (video)
Armenian lawmaker Gagik Tsarukyan will meet on Saturday with winegrowers of Aramavir region who staged a protest earlier on Friday. “During the discussion, the sides will try to reach an agreement on a number of issues,” Tsarukyan’s Spokesperson Iveta Tonoyan told A1+. A group of winegrowers today closed the rain roads in the region expressing their disappointment with Gagik Tsarukyan who, as they said, had given them false promises, saying he would procure about 40 tons of grapes from each farmer while today he is only buying 4 tons. Tomorrow, Gagik Tsarukyan will visit the Masis and Armavir and will begin buying grapes starting from Monday, paying AMD 150 per each kg.
