Armenian chess player, International Master Tigran K. Harutyunyan played well at the Nona Gaprindashvili Cup 2015. In 9 rounds, he won 5 games and tied 4, scoring 7 points. Grandmaster Tornike Sanikidze of Georgia also had 7 points and lost to Tigran K. Harutyunyan in a tiebreak. Twelve chess players represented Armenia during the tournament.
