Dashnaktsutyun may accept its former member Ruben Hakobyan (video)
Speaking about Ruben Hakobyan’s decision to quit the Heritage party, Secretary of the ARF-Dashnaktsutyun’s parliamentary bloc, Aghvan Vardanyan, refuted the allegations that Hakobyan is negotiating with the Dashnaktsutyun over his membership. “Should Hakobyan express desire to join the party, we shall consider his application at the party’s sitting,” Aghvan Vardanyan said today. Asked whether the party accepts its former members, Mr Vardanyan said ‘we do not consider Ruben Hakobyan a betrayer and we have not expelled him from the party.’ Then he cited the example of Roland Sharoyan, who returned to the party 15 years later.
