Open the borders and let Georgian come and but our grapes - say protesting villagers
Residents of Armenia’s Armavir region have blocked Yerevan-Stepanakert highway since early morning. They complain that they cannot sell their grape harvest. “No one procures grapes from local winery owners, they only purchase the grape grown by lawmakers. Open the border and let Georgians come and procure the harvest. Let us eliminate the monopoly. They are doing it on purpose forcing us to flee from the country,” the villagers said.
