HHK: “If the committee convinces, Bagratyan will accept our convictions” (video)
Hrant Bagratyan was against the Constitutional amendments, in spite of this yesterday he visited Baghramyan 26. What does Levon Zurabyan think of it? “Our assessment absolutely isn’t important, the assessment of the public and the society is important.” Levon Zurabyan guarantees that 4 persons from the faction certainly won’t say “yes” to Serzh Sargsyan’s draft. Another lawmaker of the Armenian National Congress (the HAK) Lyudmila Sargsyan also visited Baghramyan 26 for the discussion of the draft: “Even if the world is destroyed, it will have no influence on our position.” Head of the HHK faction Vahram Baghdasaryan says Bagratyan has suggestions of principle, that’s why he met with Serzh Sargsyan: “I welcome such steps.” The difficult thing was to go to Baghramyan 26. Mr. Baghdasaryan hopes that the meeting of Mr. Bagratyan with the professional committee will make him a representative of “Yes”: “By knowing him as an objective political figure, I am sure, if he… there are objectiveness and truth, if the professional committee convinces, he will accept those convictions.” Member of the professional committee on the Constitutional amendments Vardan Poghosyan was personally present during Hrant Bagratyan-Serzh Sargsyan meeting. Which Constitutional provisions did these persons discuss? “I cannot say, I don’t remember.” The NA “Heritage” faction Head Ruben Hakobyan’s party refused the invitation to meet with Serzh Sargsyan. He, Mr. Hakobyan, personally has a little bit different attitude towards the new Constitutional package: “Personally I am not in ‘No’ front.” Raffi Hovannisian’s teammate wonders- what is the need to consider those, who meet with Serzh Sargsyan, to be “blacks” and those, who don’t meet, to consider “whites”: “It is political color-blindness.” By the way, in the first version of the new draft Constitution Ruben Hakobyan saw Serzh Sargsyan’s reproduction, today he sees some changes in the draft: “Is there a government, which doesn’t want to be reproduced?”
