Levon Aronian wins first game in Baku
Armenia’s leading chess player Levon Aronian started the Chess World Cup 2015 with a victory. In the 1st round of the tournament in Baku, Aronian defeated IM Michael Wiedenkeller from Luxembourg. In the same round, Armenia’s Gabriel Sargsyan tied his match with Mateusz Bartel from Poland. Hrant Melkumyan and Samvel Ter-Sahakyan have not finished their games yet.
