46% of respondents consider Constitutional amendments necessary (video)
46% out of 1105 respondents noted that Constitutional amendments are necessary in Armenia. These are the results of the polls carried out by Gallup International Association in May. According to the words of Aram Navasardyan, Director of the Association’s representation, the respondents were also asked “What is the current system of government in the RA according to the Constitution?” 26% said “no”, 74 % said “yes”. 40% out of 74% answered “semi-presidential”, 11%- parliamentary, 49%- presidential. Asked why the results of the polls carried out in May have been published only now, when 1-7 Chapters of draft Constitution have been published, Aram Navasardyan explained that they decided to publish when they considered the issue to be actual. It isn’t known yet when new polls will be held.
