Employees of Firdausi have concerns that they will remain without job (video)
Traders at Firdausi market are alarming- they will remain without job. “We hardly made both ends meet, now we even cannot do it. That is why people are leaving this country. If they demolish, they should provide jobs to the people,” alarms Varduhi Lazaryan. Minister of Urban Development Narek Sargsyan intends to build a square with 85 meters in diameter instead of district of Firdausi, a number of new streets, social and service facilities, business centers and hotels. The citizens living in the territory have concerns that they will become homeless as a result of construction. The precedent happened to their neighbors, who have been left homeless for already 8 years. People living in the territory demand equal compensation in order to obtain a flat in the center of Yerevan and the traders of the market demand an appropriate job. Details in the video
