Russian businessman German Sterligov, who moved to Artsakh with his family several days ago, today gave a press conference in Shushi. Sterligov said he had decided to leave for Russia as did not want people to think that he was hiding in Artsakh. “I shall go to Russia so that they do not think that I am shying away from investigation, but I shall leave my family here, with Armenians. I shall stay in Russia for a couple of days as I do not want to set Russia against Nagorno Karabakh. I think they should draw closer, rather than fight. Then I shall return to Artsakh and continue farming here. And my wife will open a fashion house,” Sterligov said. Asked why he decided to settle in Artsakh, the Russian businessman said: "My main concern is to ensure the safety of my family, to stay away from bad examples. I wanted them to grow up among normal people.”
