Several hundred draftees today underwent the final medical examination at the Central Assembly Point of the Ministry of Defence. A draw was held to determine the military units where each conscript will be sent from the Central Assembly Point. Aram, 18, one of the draftees from Zod village, Ararat, says, “I will serve in Karabakh. I do not care about it. I will serve quietly and return home in two years.” “I will serve in Lusakert. I think the place of service does not matter if you serve with dignity. I only have problems with vision, but I do not pay any attention to it,” said Samson Vardanyan from the town of Ararat. Aram also believes that the place of service does not matter. "Everything depends on the soldier. One should decently serve these two years and be obedient to the army laws.” A soldier must always think that he serves his country and his nation; he serves for the peace of his parents so that they can sleep quietly at night,” Samson added.
