The number of citizens protesting the electricity price hike does not exceed fifty at Liberty Square during daylight hours. Activist Pavel Grigoryan says people do not come to the square because it is hot in the daytime. The activist says they can withstand the scorching heat and are not going to make concessions to the authorities.  “If need be, we can block the same street [Baghramyan Avenue], Mashtots or Teryan or some other street,” Pavel Grigoryan says. “Obstacles always rise during the struggle against the regime, it is important to find a solution,” says Davit Sanasaryan, one of the coordinators of the protest, who has been on hunger strike since Monday. Though the police do not allow the protesters to hold a march through Yerevan streets, Mr Sanasaryan believes that the march planned for Thursday will be held without obstacles. “We should make them understand that one cannot put on socks on shoes. The audit should be conducted in advance. Serzh Sargsyan and other officials should reckon with us and before taking any decision they should remember that citizens are holding a stick over their heads,” he said. Members of the No to Plunder initiative were also at the square. Four more activists have announced hunger strike today. Though they refrained from talking in front of the camera, the activists say police officers went to their homes and told their parents that their sons were invited to the police.
