One of the activists in Baghramyan Avenue said a security platform was forming on the protest site where specialists are asked to express their opinions on the activists’ demands within three minutes.
Then he reiterated their demands;
to annul the decision of the Public Services regulatory Commission to raise electricity tariffs by 6.93 drams
to bring down the current tariffs
to punish the officials of the Electric Networks of Armenia Company who are guilty of the plunder
“We also want to see the people who used violence against our brothers and sisters punished,” he said.
Citizens welcomed his speech with a round of applause.
In the meanwhile, more people are arriving at the avenue to join the demonstration there.
Activists continue to present their proposals to people. One of the proposed to gather people who will help the organize marches and meetings in the capital.
“We need to address official letters to the police and Serzh Sargsyan presenting them our demands,” the protester said urging people to continue the struggle.
The speeches were welcomed with loud applause.
