Investigator comes to Baghramyan Avenue after dustbins (video)
The night passed quietly on Baghramyan Avenue. Minutes ago, an investigator showed up on the protest site to inform protesters against an electricity rate hike that the dustbins used as barricades by people should be confiscated within the framework of a criminal case filed in the Investigative Department of Kentron and Nork Marash communities. The investigator said they have the relevant decision. However, citizens do not let them take away the dustbins which shield them from policemen. They also demand to be shown the decision. Deputy Chief of the Yerevan Police Valeri Osipyan talked to protesters, saying that each dustbin costs 300 000 drams. His words angered a citizen who said, “And how much do you value our life?” “Shame, shame!” People are chanting at present.
