Zhirayr Sefilyan believes protests will produce results (video)
Leader of “Centennial without the regime” movement Zhirayr Sefilyan does not doubt that the ongoing protests against the hike in electricity tariffs will produce results. “We have come to the point when our citizens impose their will on the authorities. I don't have the slightest doubt that the struggle will achieve tangible results. But the next step should be unseating the authorities,” Mr Sefilyan said on Baghramyan Avenue today. He considers the statements of the civil activists, who claim that it is a purely social movement, to be a tactical move. “I do not doubt that people will achieve success. Some time ago, no one could imagine that Baghramyan Avenue might be blocked by activists for several days. I believe that we shall succeed in our future endeavours as well.”
