Today in the park next to Republic Square station of Metro about a dozen of Syrian Armenians introduced their production. Different products- from various jewels to Syrian delicacies were on display. Exhibition-sale was organized by the Ministry of Diaspora. “Red Cross informed us about the exhibition and we came to take part in it. Here are Syrian biscuits, which I made with marzipan for children. Besides, we have sweets for wedding decorations, and on seeing them the locals approach and ask whether it is delicacy. We say “Yes, try!,” noted Yoland Rshtuni. “I have all types of spices- zaatar, red pepper, saffron, very good spice for chicken, kebab, potato, salad. I have about 40-50 types. I have rented a shop under the subway of Republic Square metro station and I will sell. 80 percent of my customers are locals,” told Petros Kirazyan. “We have displayed two carts: accessories made by me and my husband’s products. We have sets, bracelets, rings, a wide range of crosses,” said Lusine Barsumyan.
