Levon Martirosyan is disappointed about failure of demonstrators (video)
Today lawmaker Arakel Movsisyan expressed his opinion on the acts of violence by the Police against the peaceful people and the work of water cannons, “It is hot, they poured water, what has happened?” Aghvan Vardanyan was aware of the events, he thinks that the demonstrators should have negotiated with Serzh Sargsyan. There was no need to use violence against them, “They were maximum organized, quiet, peaceful, law-abiding and the happening is reprehensible.” Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan is proud of his country’s police, blood wasn’t shed, “They implemented actions in a very professional way and according to European standards.” The Minister considered it to be a strategic mistake that the young protesters refused the offer of Serzh Sargsyan to meet and negotiate. HHK faction member Levon Martirosyan’s answer, “I am sure they weren’t able to make a decision, apparently they didn’t have 4 leaders to go.” Levon Martirosyan doesn’t rejoice at the acts of violence by the Police, the citizens and journalists weren’t beaten with pleasure, he is sure, “It is obvious that in the deadlock the Police must use force, what are they supposed to do?” Levon Martirosyan was the only deputy from the HHK faction, who was disappointed about the failure of young protesters, “It is another bad precedent in the sense that in the future if people want to protest, they will remember the previous incidents, these events that they protested and nothing came out of it.”
