Electric Networks of Armenia mustn’t be nationalized, they should be given to several companies. HHK faction member Alexan Petrosyan thinks, “If any branch in the world doesn’t have a rival in that country or in the world, it will do whatever it wants.” Alexan Petrosyan, who is engaged in the production and exportation of agricultural products, predicts price increase also in his production. President of the National Assembly Galust Sahakyan wonders, how to fight against electricity price increase, by raising salaries? “If we raise the salaries, it will again be at the expense of the people. The people create the budget. Do you think that Galust Sahakyan or someone else keeps this nation? You keep the nation.” Mr. Sahakyan assures there is no variant to prevent electricity price increase. The price increase won’t be painful for the Head of the Parliament as only one light is switched on in his house. Dashnaktsutyun faction member Artsvik Minasyan thinks that electricity price increase even by 1 dram is terrible, “Price increase even by 1 dram will cause reduction in purchasing power and production volumes both among the businesses and the population.” Mr. Minasyan thinks that the whole problem is in the Public Services Regulatory Commission, it implements its work in a wrong way, “Without examining structure of the demand and acceptable and maximum price the PSRC and the Government announced at once 6.93 drams. They don’t take into consideration the solvency of the consumers.” Mr. Minasyan doesn’t think that there is any problem connected with economics and that electricity price increases with the caprice of Russia and the contempt of the ENA Director Bibin towards the National Assembly is within the frames of that contempt. “It wasn’t contempt,” says Artsvik Minasyan, “We have adopted laws, which don’t intend Bibin’s obligatory participation here.” As to Russia’s caprice, Artsvik Minasyan doesn’t see the guilt of that country in electricity price increase, “Electricity distribution networks aren’t subjected to Russia, it is an Armenian resident company. One of Russian companies is its shareholder.” And who enjoys the money, “People, who are beneficiary, enjoy the money. Are there few Armenians who are involved in corruption?”
