Members of PACE Monitoring Committee in BHK faction
On June 10 the NA “Prosperous Armenia” faction Head Naira Zohrabyan and faction members Elinar Vardanyan, Stepan Margaryan, Vahan Babayan met with the PACE Monitoring Committee’s Co-rapporteurs on Armenia Axel Fischer and Alan Mill. During the meeting the faction head Naira Zohrabyan presented the party’s position on domestic and foreign political processes and social-economic problems of the country. The sides also touched upon inner political developments in February: representatives of Prosperous Armenia Party noted that their political agenda hasn’t been changed, the country faces serious social-economic challenges and unification of political forces is needed in order to solve problems of the country. The interlocutors also touched upon the constitutional amendments in Armenia. In this context the BHK presented its approach towards suggested amendments. Issues relating to the agenda of relations between Armenia and the European Union were also discussed during the meeting. Naira Zohrabyan as the President of the Committee of the NA European Integration presented the approaches of the party towards agenda of future Armenia-EU legal document.
