Argishti Kiviryan was amnestied, but he will apply to the ECHR (video)
Today analyst, “Armenia Today” website’s coordinator Argishti Kiviryan was fined AMD 400.000 for using violence against government representative. Arthur Mkrtchyan, Judge at Yerevan Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun Administrative Districts’ Court of General Jurisdiction, informed that Argishti Kiviryan had been exempted also from that obligation under the amnesty. Prosecutor Arthur Yeritsyan was satisfied with the verdict and he isn’t going to appeal it. But the defendant’s side has another opinion: they will apply to the ECHR. Advocate Lusine Sahakyan thinks that at the European Court they will win the case.
