Galust Sahakyan: “Gagik Tsarukyan isn’t my employee” (video)
Galust Sahakyan isn’t ashamed of the thought that both he and Gagik Tsarukyan, who didn’t carry out any activities in the parliament, are the NA deputies. Gagik Tsarukyan isn’t an evil for the Republican anymore. He is a philanthropist, who deals with sports issues. But what is the business of Gagik Tsarukyan in the National Assembly: “Ask Gagik Tsarukyan about it! –We asked President of the National Assembly. – Deputies aren’t my employees so that I can ask why they don’t work well,” says the NA President Galust Sahakyan. After restoring relationship with Serzh Sargsyan Tsarukyan’s absences in the NA aren’t a problem for the Republicans, is that person again presenting health certificates? “I haven’t touched upon it yet, I don’t know about the certificates he has presented,” says Galust Sahakyan. But it is known that Gagik Tsarukyan doesn’t make business trips with the National Assembly or the Armenian Olympic Committee. And judging by his active extra-parliamentary activities, he isn’t sick either: “So, if once in a month Tsarukyan appears in the news, he mustn’t have a reason for illness.” Journalists reminded head of the parliament about the thought addressed to Tsarukyan on February 12 at the HHK sitting and next two days, that he is politically ignorant. Does Mr. Sahakyan claim that viewpoint of his party members? “If we separate the word “ignorant” from the general coloring, it becomes another concept. The problem relates to the incorrect actions from the political point of view, we haven’t changed our position.” So anyone aspiring to regime change can be considered politically ignorant for the Republicans: “They can carry out regime change, but regime change doesn’t mean blood, it doesn’t mean at any price,” explains the NA President. As to the blood, who must have shed blood, the Republicans, or the team of Gagik Tsarukyan? Head of the parliament answers: “Blood from both sides would be the blood of all of us.”
