Liparit Petrosyan who has type 2 diabetes continues hunger strike for already 12 days. “Doctors say that still his health condition is satisfactory,” said Head of the Penitentiary Department of the RA Ministry of Justice Gor Ghlechyan in the interview with “A1+”. Liparit Petrosyan, who was sentenced to 5-year imprisonment and was a participant of “Revolution of values” initiated by Shant Harutyunyan, resorted to this extreme form of protest to express his discontent with persecution against members and supporters of the Founding Parliament movement and the Cassation Court’s decision to reject the appeal against unlawful actions against radical opposition Tseghakron party leader Shant Harutyunyan and his friends.
