Finance Minister to submit report about tax audits of Tsarukyan businesses by June (video)
Speaking at the National Assembly on May 20, Armenian lawmaker Nikol Pashinyan on reminded that on February 12 at a meeting of the executive board of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Serzh Sargsyan told Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan to order a probe to “verify reports” claiming Gagik Tsarukyan had hidden huge amounts of money in taxes under the guise of charitable activities. Pashinyan inquired about the results of inspections following Serzh Sargsyan's instruction. Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said the Minister of Finance will submit them a report on the results of the examination by the end of the month. He also promised to inform people about the findings.
