Anahit Bakhshyan worried about Armenian family missing since December 2014 (video)
A family living in the city of Abovyan in Armenia’s Kotayk marz has been missing since December 5, 2014, says Armenian lawmaker Anahit Bakhshyan. “The parents of the family – Artur Mkhitaryan and Angela Petrosyan - lived in the city with their three children and were going to have another baby,” the deputy director of the National Education Institute told reporters on May 15. “Two of the children went to school and the elder son was to be drafted to the army but they disappeared suddenly,” Anahit Bakhchyan said. “No one knows where they are now. The parents took their children and left the city in an unknown direction.” The lawmaker says these children do not attend school and are deprived of their right to education, which is considered a criminal offense. The police have been informed about the missing family but they do not take any measures to find them.
