HAK speaks about new process of power change
Our authorities are non compos mentis [not of sound mind] because only deranged rulers can lead the country to a collapse, Levon Zurabyan, a senior lawmaker of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) said during today’s parliamentary briefings. In reply to the question what measures the HAK was taking to change power after a two-month hiatus, Mr Zurabyan said, “The power change should be preceded by some meaningful event. In 2011, it was the Arab Spring in Egypt, in 2015, it was the cooperation between the HAK and Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK). Another incentive may become the package of controversial constitutional reforms in Aremnia.”
