Political parties to visit Genocide Memorial at Tsitsernakaberd at different times
Representatives of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) are to visit the Genocide Memorial at Tsitsernakaberd at 1.00 pm. They will be accompanying foreign delegations who have arrived in the Armenian capotal to pay their respects to the 1.5 million Armenians killed by Ottoman Turks in 1915-1923. Members of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) will gather in front of the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex at 2 pm and members of the Heritage are to meet on Kievyan bridge at 3.30pm. The Armenian National Congress (HAK) and Free Democrats will ascend the Tsitsernakaberd hill at 5pm and 6.30 respectively. Representatives of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation – Dashnaktsutyun are due to start a torchlight procession from the city’s main square to Tsitsernakaberd at 10pm. Dashnaktsutyun MPs will visit the memorial complex in the morning.
