V. Baghdasaryan: “I am looking for ways not to be the Head of the committee” (video)
The RA authorities assured members of the Council of Europe's Group of States against corruption (GRECO) that corruption had decreased in our country. In its latest report the Group gave a positive assessment of Armenia’s fight against corruption. The members of GRECO met with the representatives of parliament, prosecution and courts in order to make next report. Head of the HHK faction is pleased that the opposition also makes constructive suggestions. The Government have formed a committee for the fight against corruption, which must be headed by the Prime Minister and will include ministers, who are considered to be corrupted according to the words of the opposition representatives. Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun) won’t have a representative in the committee. According to Dashnaktsutyun, functions must be set by the law and not by the decision of the Government or by the decree of the President. Members of GRECO didn’t speak about the committee and only listened to the approaches of our deputies. More- in the video
