Armenians in Germany to demand recognition of Armenian Genocide
A protest action dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide will be held outside the Chancellor's residence in Berlin on April 25. The protest is organized by the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Germany and the Central Council of Armenia in Germany (CCAG). Representatives of the local Armenian community will call on the German authorities to recognize and condemn the first genocide of the 20th century. The protest will be followed by a march to the Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor) and a rally. The protest will be held under the slogan, “Remember, Join and Demand!”
