Paruyr Hayrikyan: Let us say 'Welcome to Kardashian' (video)
I feel the smell of Boshevism from the mass arrests of representatives of the radical opposition Founding Parliament group, Chairman of the Union for National Self-Determination (AIM) Paruyr Hayrikyan announced on April 8. “What is the aim of mass arrests? If you wanted to prevent their further steps and ‘mass disturbances’ as you said, you could have called them and reprimand like your Chekist ‘daddies.’ But you cannot bring charges against them based on your suspicions,” Mr Hayrikyan said adding that the authorities disgrace Armenia with their steps. The AIM chairman says April 24 is not only a day of mourning but also a day of fight, hence the initiative of the Founding Parliament group is not meaningless. Speaking about the planned visit of reality star Kim Kardashian, Paruyr Hayrikyan said, “An Armenian is visiting her homeland. Let us say 'Welcome to Kardashian.' We should give a warm welcome to all Armenians if, of course, they are not wanted by INTERPOL.”
