Yesterday for the first time after about 10 days of absence, the RF President Vladimir Putin publicly made a speech during the meeting with the President of Kyrgyzstan. He spoke briefly about his health status and disappearance by saying that without rumors it would be boring. Why did Putin disappear and where was he? Armenian political analysts have little interest in this issue. The most important is the results, which can be rather serious. President of Yerevan Press Club Boris Navasardyan thinks, “Even if there were some problems in the upper levels and they were resolved, in terms of population there will be serious changes, as it isn’t serious and acceptable for them.” The people of Russia are used to seeing and listening to their leader every day on every issue. That is the reason that his several days’ absence bothered people. It isn’t excluded that the personal hypotheses spread in the media have been the real reason for Putin’s disappearance. For example, that he left the country in order to participate in the birth of his daughter or to receive treatment, but people have little interest in it. “People are expecting anything and are trying to get ready. And as in Russia people aren’t able to take part in the decision-making directly, they want to feel themselves the citizens of the country emotionally and if it fails, it brings to destabilization,” says Boris Navasardyan. It isn’t for the first time in history of Russia that the head of the country has disappeared, remembers political analyst Alexander Iskandaryan, that’s why he doesn’t advise to take Putin’s disappearance so seriously, “I remember that Brezhnev was in such situation for several years and he wasn’t able to govern the country.” Yeltsin also disappeared and during one of those disappearances he was reelected a President, then it turned out that during that time he was fighting for his life. If there is no Putin, Russia remains Russia.” Among various hypotheses of Putin’s disappearance, political analyst Levon Shirinyan suggests his hypothesis, “Maybe he is having rest, maybe he hid in order to have fun or maybe there must be new attacks: Ukraine should think about it.” Levon Shirinyan excludes the palace coup and then adds, “Don’t forget that Putin is from the KGB, he is the one who can carry out revolution.” Today press service of President of Kazakhstan confirmed that the meeting of Nazarbayev, Putin and Lukashenko, heads of the member countries of the Customs Union, will be held on March 20 in Astana. To remind, that the meeting must have been held on March 13.
