We are to participate [in the European Games] in order to show that we are not afraid of anything and we are willing to compete for victory. All our sportsmen who have a desire should go and participate in the competitions, a former football player of FC Ararat said on March 16. The famous athlete Khoren Hovhannisyan is now preparing for the football match dedicated to be held at Republican stadium on March 28 on the occasion of his 60th anniversary. “The organizers want to organize a spectacular event and have invited footballers of older and younger generations. I am also training for the game and I shall do my best to score a goal,” he said. The proceeds will be transferred to the children's cancer relief fund.
