Vartan Oskanian submits application to quit BHK
Vartan Oskanian, Armenia’s former Foreign Minister, a lawmaker of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), has submitted an application to terminate his membership with the BHK. “The allegations that Mr Oskanian is going to renounce his deputy mandate do not correspond to reality,” Secretary of the BHK faction Naira Zohrabyan told Azatutyun.am. “The party’s political council will discuss Mr Oskanian’s application letter in the near future and I hope hopeful that the party will not satisfy his request. We do not want Mr Oskanian to quit the party,” she said.
