Raffi Hovannisian: Step down Azatovich and Richardovich will follow suit
Not all members of the opposition Heritage faction will be able to attend the rally to be organized by the Armenian National Congress in Yerevan’s Liberty Square on March 1, Leader of the Heritage party Raffi Hovannisian told his supports in Liberty Square today. He said part of his teammates will be traveling to the border village of Chinari on March 1. «We are not going to play this game anymore. Time will come when we shall gather somewhere else,” Mr Hovannisian said meaning the Presidential Palace at 26 Baghramyan Avenue. The Heritage leader says the opposition troika no longer exists as such but the Heritage is leaving its doors open to start everything anew. “I am not going to judge anyone but let everyone know that we are continuing our struggle. We shall cooperate with all forces who seek early parliamentary and presidential elections and demand resignation of Serzh Sargsyan,” he said. “Step down Azatovich and Richardovich will follow suit,” Raffi Hovannisian ended the meeting with these words. The party will again rally its supporters in the square next Friday.
