Criminal case instituted to determine cause of businessman's death
A criminal case has been instituted in connection with the death of famous businessman Abram Amirkhanyan, Director of Levon Amirkhanyan Ltd, who was found dead in his house on Feb. 16.
The Press Service of the Investigation Committee reports that the criminal case was filed under Article 110 of the Criminal Code (driving a person to suicide).
Armlur.am reports that businessman Hamlet Amirkhanyan committed suicide in his country house by shooting himself. Investigation is underway to determine the details of the incident.
Earlier, Zhoghovurd daily wrote that a number of high-ranking officials from Armenia and Artsakh who had bought flats in an elite building at 40 Sayat-Nova were on the verge of losing their property as the flats are mortgaged to the bank.
