Can the case of violence make BHK party’s policy rough? (video)
Can the case of violence against the member of Political Council of Prosperous Armenia Party, activist Artak Khachatryan make the party’s policy rough and lead the party into radical oppositional field? Political powers don’t hurry to give an answer. “Rule of Law” (OEK) deputy Hovhannes Margaryan notes, “We must be very subtle in our positions, as today our citizens are in intense, social-economic difficult condition, such incidents are impermissible, it will continue if certain individuals aren’t revealed and punished.” Dashnaktsutyun (ARF) party deputy doesn’t think that it is the impetus, which must change the political position, “I don’t consider it the best way of recovering the political system, because if the country needs radical changes and they are really necessary and the society demands it, it means that political solution must be given to that issue.” The Political Council of Prosperous Armenia Party has called for taking drastic measures- to discuss the issue of boycotting the NA activities until punishing the sinners, to start immediate consultations with other parties in order to coordinate the future joint steps. “That method must be discussed in detail, as the inaction may have worse consequences, the issue must be raised at the NA and must be discussed in detail,”- notes Artsvik Minasyan. Hovhannes Margaryan thinks, “Condemning this bad practice in our reality, I think that political powers are described by their actions and positions on various issues.” Artsvik Minasyan is sure that the only solution is structural changes which are directly connected with the constitutional changes, “In that case it is very substantial that the police must give an account to Parliament and in that case, I think, such issue won’t be raised- to boycott or not.” He thinks that all the powers, which condemn the violence, must have a joint resolution, or else the developments would have irreversible consequences for the country.
